Message From Chairman
On behalf of CCIG Malaysia (CCIG), I would like to welcome you to discover who we are, what we do and our role in providing industry recognition to workers in the creative content industry. Under Malaysia’s bold Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), implementation of which began in 2010, the creative industry has been identified as a key, potentially high-income industry capable of generating approximately RM52 billion of gross national income (GNI) a year. One of the areas of concern that has been identified is the quality of the industry’s human capital.
Malaysia must facilitate better provision of reliable human capital to investors (and producers) so that investment decisions can be made in good time.Creative, hard-working and competitive local practitioners are abundant in Malaysia. However, dependable and systematic information about them is not readily available. For this reason, CCIG offers a reliable database, which we compile with care and professionalism incorporating the Creative Content Industry Recognition Framework, which is an industry-led certification programme.
I hope all practitioners in the creative content industry register themselves as CCIG members and,  when the right time comes, get themselves certified and recognised by the industry. They will add to the growing community of members which already exceeds 6000.This membership programme covers job expertise in the creative multimedia, cultural and heritage sectors. It does not cost anything to register at the moment. Don’t wait, just grab the opportunity!

Chairman, CCIG Malaysia
