Process of Certification Exercise

Ordinary Members

CCIG Malaysia registered members who are involved directly or indirectly in the creative content industry, such as:

  • Creative Writing
  • Television and Film Production
  • Advertising
  • Design
  • Animation
  • Digital Content
  • Visual Arts
  • Music
  • Fashion and Textile
  • etc.

Certification Process

Assessment is based on standards and criteria (for each cluster or categories) set at Cluster Expert Meetings (CEMs)

4 Main Criterias

Certification Panels:
Expert (Certified Members) from that creative field, representattives from government bodies or agencies and academics (public or private institutions of higher learning).

Certified Member


The opportunity to be known and recommended for projects via the official CCIG web portal.

Added value as a certified practitioner (CCIG certified member) when applying for creative grants or loans from agencies*

The opportunity to follow professional training at recommended institutions with focus on hands-on practical skills*

Entitled to vote and to be elected as CCIG council member.
